Teaching Assistant is required to start
in an 'Outstanding' School based in Brent Cross, North West London


Psychology Graduates, Graduates or
experienced Teaching Assistants welcomed.


I'm seeking a number of Teaching Assistants who are looking to make a difference in students' academic lives and can start in September 2026 at a thriving and supportive school based in Brent Cross, North West London.


This position is open to Psychology graduates, graduates and experienced Teaching Assistants. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be committed, positive, reliable and have a real passion for supporting students and contributing to their academic development as part of a successful SEN department.


You would be required to support vulnerable students with a range of SEN needs, including Autism, ADHD, Behavioural Needs and Dyslexia, to name a few.


This school prides itself on creating a positive and respectful learning environment. It also offers free training within the school, alongside CPD opportunities, allowing staff to develop their skills and experience within SEN.


TEACHING ASSISTANT INFORMATION:

The position is open to Psychology graduates, graduates and experienced Teaching Assistants.


You will be joining a successful, well-structured SEN department.

You'll be working with students across KS3, KS4 and KS5, depending on the requirements of the school.

TEACHING ASSISTANT CONTRACT DETAILS

Location: Brent Cross, North West London


Position: Teaching Assistant


Type of work: KS3 / KS4 / KS5 - Supporting these key stages


Contract/position starting date: September 2026


Contract type: Temp to Perm


Full time/part time: Full time ONLY


Minimum rate of pay: 100 - 115 per day, depending on experience


Hours: 8:00am - 3:30pm or 4:00pm, plus parents' evenings


TEACHING ASSISTANT EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors degree or relevant experience


Psychology-related degree - Desirable but not essential


A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students


Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential
