Job Description
Four sessions per week Thursday and Friday On-site in Fulham

We are a friendly and supportive GP practice based in Fulham, providing high-quality clinical services to approximately 16,000 patients. We are seeking a motivated and experienced GP to join our team and provide maternity cover for a 12-month fixed-term period.

  1. Anticipated start date: 1 December 2026, with some flexibility by agreement.
  2. Contract end date: 30 November 2027.
  3. Contract duration: 12 months.
  4. Commitment: Four sessions per week.
  5. Required working days: Thursday and Friday.
  6. Working hours: Flexible start time, with a required finish time of 6:30 pm on both days.
  7. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a GP in another practice.
  8. GMC registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
  9. A mixture of face-to-face and telephone consultations.
  10. No extended-hours requirement beyond the stated 6:30 pm finish time.
  11. No routine prescription queries.
  12. No routine correspondence to action.
  13. ANP or GP support with home visits when working as the duty doctor.
  14. Allocated administrative time for the patients you see.
  15. Protected time for audits, special interests, peer review and education.

The successful candidate will receive structured onboarding and training to ensure they are fully familiar with the role, our clinical systems, practice processes and ways of working.

You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team that includes:Advanced Nurse Practitioners, GPs, Prescribing paramedics, Pharmacist, Osteopath Social prescriber and an experienced clinical and administrative leadership team

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the practice's leadership of palliative care, with support from another clinical peer within the practice.

Additional remuneration will be available for agreed leadership responsibilities or contributions within a specialist area. Taking on a leadership responsibility is welcomed but is not mandatory.
