Governance Partner - 6 Month FTC
Salary: Up to £46,330
Location: Hybrid (occasional travel to Andover or London)

Are you passionate about governance, compliance, and enabling senior leaders to deliver effectively? We're looking for an experienced Governance Partner to join a forward-thinking organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This role is an exciting opportunity for a governance professional who thrives on variety, enjoys influencing at senior level, and takes pride in delivering high standards of compliance and board support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing high-quality governance advice and guidance to Boards, Committees, Executive and Operational Panels.

  • Championing compliance with governance frameworks, terms of reference, constitutions, and regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting the recruitment, induction, training, and succession planning of Non-Executive Directors and Independent Members.

  • Leading efficient administration of governance meetings, calendars, and urgent decision-making processes.

  • Assisting with statutory registers, returns, resolutions, and governance service records.

  • Driving continuous improvement in governance processes, including digital governance solutions.


About you:

You'll bring a balance of technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to work confidently with senior leaders. Ideally you'll have:

  • Experience supporting Boards or Committees in a regulated or complex environment.

  • Knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, and internal control.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, and digital governance platforms).

  • Part-qualified Company Secretary or equivalent experience (desirable).
