Job Description

Global Technical Project Manager/Product Owner - Digital Platforms - London

Daily rate: £500 - £600 (inside IR35)

Duration: 6 months

Start: ASAP

Hybrid: 2 - 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage one or more global digital platform domains.
  • Define technical roadmaps, platform capabilities, and delivery priorities.
  • Work with engineering, architecture, security, analytics, and business teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
  • Lead technical discovery, requirements definition, backlog management, and prioritisation.
  • Manage integrations, dependencies, and cross-platform impacts.
  • Support platform modernisation, cloud adoption, CMS migrations, and digital transformation programmes.
  • Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Act as the link between business and technical teams, driving successful programme delivery.
Requirements & Skills
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms, web technologies, APIs, integrations, and customer experience ecosystems.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and delivery plans.
  • Experience working closely with architecture and engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and modernisation strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFe methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or Aha!.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (Adobe Experience Manager desirable), SEO, analytics, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience 10+ years in Technical Project Manager, Technical Product Owner, Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar roles.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms and transformation programmes.
  • Proven track record managing technical backlogs, platform enhancements, and engineering delivery.
  • Experience with CMS platforms, website technologies, and global multi-market environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platform migrations, CMS modernisation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing vendors and presenting to senior stakeholders.
