A global energy trading powerhouse is looking for a commercially astute and motivated Global Senior Buyer to join its high-performing procurement team. With a growing international footprint and significant investment in procurement transformation, this is a rare opportunity for an ambitious procurement professional to make a global impact across multiple business-critical categories.

Operating as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you'll lead sourcing and commercial activity across a range of indirect categories such as HR, Marketing, Legal, Tax, and FM. You'll be encouraged to think commercially, act entrepreneurially, and bring real value to a fast-paced, agile environment.

This is not just another buying role but a chance to elevate your career in a team where procurement is strategic, respected, and central to business growth.

Key Procurement Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end procurement ownership across a range of indirect categories (HR, marketing, legal, FM, tax, and more)
  • Lead RFPs, tendering, supplier negotiations and contract management with a focus on value delivery and innovation
  • Partner with stakeholders across the UK and internationally, supporting global procurement strategies and governance
  • Influence commercial decisions through data-driven insights and strong market understanding
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for cost savings and supplier consolidation
  • Collaborate across finance, legal, and compliance to ensure best-in-class procurement processes

What they're looking for:

  • Proven experience in indirect procurement with exposure to a variety of spend areas
  • Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills - you know how to deliver more than just savings
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude and the confidence to work with senior stakeholders globally
  • Entrepreneurial approach to procurement - someone who thrives in a lean, high-impact team
  • Open to background - whether industry or consulting - as long as you're sharp, curious, and driven

Why apply?

  • Join a high-calibre team where procurement is respected and has influence
  • Excellent scope for progression in a globally growing function
  • Hybrid working with flexibility (typically 2-3 days in a modern London office)
  • Competitive salary + strong bonus potential + benefits
