A senior global role with clear commercial ownership and the mandate to set direction for two fast growing sub brands across key European markets.
As our new Global Senior Brand Manager for Arla LactoFREE and Arla Cultura, you will lead the brand agenda across Europe - strengthening long term brand equity and delivering profitable growth. You will own the P&L, drive portfolio and investment choices, and ensure strong execution in a complex, matrix set up, working closely with markets and functions.
How you will make an impactReporting to the Director of Health from Within, you will have end to end responsibility for the strategic direction, commercial performance and long term brand equity of Arla LactoFREE and Arla Cultura. You will drive profitable growth across Europe, making fact based trade offs on portfolio, investments and priorities. You will also lead the day to day people management of the Brand Manager in the team, including ongoing performance dialogue and end year review and dialogue. Working closely with markets and functions, you will ensure clarity on priorities, roles & responsibilities and ways of working - securing focus and timely decisions across the set up. More specifically, you will
- Own and drive brand P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin development, investment efficiency and long term value creation
- Define and own the brand strategy, translating market dynamics, consumer insights and growth opportunities into clear direction for markets
- Drive profitable growth across core European markets by setting priorities, aligning plans and following up on delivery
- Develop and scale a focused portfolio, with particular emphasis on impactful, scalable innovations aligned with brand strategy
- Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistent and high quality execution across markets and touchpoints
- Lead the day to day performance and development of the Brand Manager in the team (including ongoing performance dialogue and end year review & dialogue), setting clear priorities and ensuring strong delivery across the broader indirect team setup
- Lead global ways of working and governance, serving as the primary point of contact for markets and ensuring clarity in roles and expectations
For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands or UK. Due to Brexit implications, we are, however, restricted on what is possible for candidates that are UK based. Here, people can of course consider relocating.
You should expect travel activities corresponding to a few times a month across Europe (if you are based in Viby Denmark, travel will be less) and otherwise work from home or utilize our offices in one of our European markets. Travel requirements will vary through the year.

- Several years of experience leading FMCG brands with significant commercial responsibility
- Proven experience owning and driving P&L performance in a complex, matrixorganisation
- Strong strategic capability combined with the ability to translate strategy into execution
- Confidence influencing and challenging senior stakeholders across markets and functions
- Deep understanding of consumer insights, brandleversand value creation
- A leadership style that sets clear direction, drives accountability and builds high performing indirect teams across markets
