Responsibilities / Position overviewThis position is responsible for managing project resourcing across all researchers and consultants to ensure that we have the correct project team shape and expertise to deliver to a high standard.
The Global Resourcing Manager contributes as an integral member of the Business Operations / Operational Excellence teams and supports activities strategically aligned to and consistent with the mission and values of Lumanity.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Receive project requirements and review resource availability; maintain a capacity forecast to stay ahead of staffing constraints.
- Day-to-day, assign/allocate project leads and teams to projects using Kantata, making data-driven decisions which consider project requirements (e.g. role, skillset, experience, conflicts), resource availability/location, client requests and the use of external resourcing.
- Ensure fair workload distribution among researchers and consultants, track individual workloads over time, identify outliers, and communicate feedback to LT / BusOps (and cascade to line managers if appropriate) for adjustments needed.
- Optimize HEOR and PCO team's resource management process and improve utilization of resource and project margins.
- Continuously improve resourcing practices by implementing strategies to address capacity constraints and ensure project continuity.

- Report individual project resource issues to relevant line managers and senior teams, such as high stress levels or unwillingness to take on new projects, escalating to Human Resources as needed.
- Work with the Management Team to evaluate and plan for current and future workload and resource management, including tracking business workload and pipeline.
- University degree or equivalent college qualification relevant to the market research industry or business administration.
- At least 5 years' experience working in a consulting agency, ideally in a similar industry (health or life sciences).
- At least 2 years in resource allocation within a matrix structure, demonstrating ability to coordinate both internal and external resourcing.
- Demonstratable knowledge of project team requirements to deliver projects or proposals.
- Demonstratable knowledge of IR35 in the context of resource management.
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft suite and Teams.
- Experience with Kantata (Mavenlink ideally over Kimble) desirable.
