Global Head of Payroll

Global Head of Payroll - Permanent - London - Hybrid - up to £125,000 per annum + bonus

Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a global organisation, looking for an experienced Global Head of Payroll, to lead their global payroll function. This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for overseeing payroll operations across the UK, EMEA, APAC, and the USA. This position will play a key role in driving payroll excellence, transformation, and stakeholder engagement at all levels of the business, while leading a mid sized payroll team. The role is offered on a hybrid basis consisting of 3 days per week, based in their London office.

The Global Head of Payroll will be responsible for duties such as:

• Oversee end to end payroll operations across UK, EMEA, APAC, and the USA, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
• Lead and deliver multiple strategic payroll and transformation projects, including system improvements and process optimisation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, acting as a key advisor on payroll matters. Ensure compliance with all relevant global payroll legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, direction, and development to a mid sized payroll team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, controls, and service delivery.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience in global payroll leadership, covering UK, EMEA, APAC, and USA regions.
• Proven experience managing high volume payrolls.
• Strong strategic mindset, with experience leading payroll transformation and change initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Experience managing and developing medium to large payroll teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
