We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a German-speaking Export Sales Manager to join a highly successful, international designer and manufacturer of high-quality, innovative products that are exported globally.

Language requirements for the job

Fluent German and English are essential. Fluency in Polish is a major advantage but not essential.

Location of the job

Hybrid working possible - Cambridge office plus regular travel in Europe. Ideally, you will live within 1 hour of Cambridge for regular office visits.

Job responsibilities of the German-speaking Export Sales Manager

Your role will primarily involve managing and developing sales accounts and partners in Germany and other key European countries, especially Poland.

Your duties will typically include:

  1. Distributor and major account management
  2. Identifying and developing new sales markets and opportunities in northern and western Europe
  3. Traveling regularly to visit existing clients and identify new sales opportunities
  4. Conducting regular market research
  5. Attending trade shows and exhibitions as both exhibitor and visitor
  6. Reporting on sales targets and progress

The ideal candidate's background

  • Fluent German and English; Polish fluency is a plus but not essential
  • Possession of a university degree in Business or Marketing (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar international export sales role
  • Strong prioritization, planning, and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in written and verbal presentations
  • Experience in account management

Salary, benefits, and working hours

Negotiable, starting at £50,000 plus benefits.
