An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Engineer with a few years of industry experience to join a well-established and growing consultancy in Maidstone, Kent. This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step from an entry-level position into a more autonomous, technically involved role, working across a diverse portfolio of geotechnical and geo-environmental projects.
You will be joining a collaborative team of specialist consultants, gaining exposure to a wide range of ground investigation, geotechnical design, and environmental projects, with clear opportunities for career progression and professional development.
The Geotechnical Engineer selected will be offered:- Competitive salary (£30,000 - £38,000), depending on experience

- Planning, supervising, and managing ground investigation projects
- Logging soil and rock in accordance with current standards
- Interpreting ground investigation data and preparing factual and interpretive reports
- Undertaking geotechnical assessments and producing design recommendations (e.g. foundations, earthworks)
- Carrying out and reviewing contaminated land risk assessments
- A degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Geoscience, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Relevant industry experienceStrong report writing and data interpretation skills
- Live in or near to Maidstone
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Eligibility to work in the UK
