Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging physical and human Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Assess student work, track pupil progress, and offer constructive feedback to boost achievement.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-energy learning environment.
  • Guide students through target grade criteria and key exam techniques.
  • Work alongside supportive secondary Humanities teams to enrich the curriculum.

Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS status (ECTs/NQTs and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply).
  • Degree level qualification in Geography or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record of teaching Geography within the UK Secondary National Curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or readiness to process one)
