Geography Teacher Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire Salary: £35,602-£54,328 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, pro rata for part-time Contract: Part-time, permanent (0.5-0.6 FTE) Start date: January 2027 Inspire pupils to explore the world, question what they see and understand the connections between people and places. Geography is a popular, well-established subject, supported by a department of six Geography teachers and a Humanities teacher. Your responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across the relevant secondary year groups.
• Develop pupils geographical knowledge, enquiry skills and ability to interpret maps, data and evidence.
• Adapt teaching to support different learning needs and challenge pupils to achieve their potential.
• Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on lesson resources and curriculum delivery.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom with high expectations for learning and behaviour.
