This Geography Teacher role offers the opportunity to join a supportive and well established secondary school on a full time, one year contract. Duties as Geography Teacher:- Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach a broad and balanced Geography curriculum aligned with national expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities
- Maintain clear behaviour expectations and classroom routines
- Work collaboratively with the humanities department and wider staff team
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Geography
- Confident classroom management and clear communication skills
- Ability to motivate and engage pupils of varying abilities
- Willingness to commit to a full time, one year contract
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
