A forward-thinking secondary school is seeking a Geography Teacher to join its Humanities department. The role includes teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to teach KS5 for suitably experienced candidates.
This is a great opportunity for a teacher who can bring geographical concepts to life, develop critical thinking, and support pupils in achieving strong GCSE and A-Level outcomes.
Northumberland 11-18 Secondary School with Sixth Form
£163 - £265.92 per day PAYE Dependent on experience

Accessible Northumberland location with good transport connections
Deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons
Prepare students effectively for GCSE (and A-Level where applicable)
Monitor and track pupil progress
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment
QTS (or equivalent)
Experience teaching Geography at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge across physical and human geography
Confident classroom and behaviour management
PAYE only - no umbrella deductions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
