  • Configure and troubleshoot generator controllers including synchronisation and load sharing

  • Read and interpret LV and HV electrical schematics for integration and fault finding

  • Implement and test circuit breaker switching logic, interlocks, and protection schemes

  • Support FAT and SAT testing of control panels and generator systems

  • Carry out site commissioning and performance testing

  • Produce technical documentation including I O lists, control philosophies, and test procedures

  • Work closely with electrical design, commissioning, and site teams to deliver fully integrated systems

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong experience as a Generator Controls or Commissioning Engineer

  • Solid understanding of LV and HV electrical systems and switchgear control

  • Hands-on experience with generator controllers such as ComAp or similar

  • Knowledge of generator paralleling and grid-connected or islanded operation

  • Familiarity with G99 and G59 requirements

  • Good working knowledge of electrical safety standards such as BS 7671 and IEC

  • Comfortable working independently and on-site with customers

  • Willingness to travel for commissioning and support activities

Desirable Experience

  • Ability to review or edit schematics using AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN

  • Electrical safety or HV switching certification
