What you'll do
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently across multiple areas of general practice including conveyancing, probate, family law, litigation, and client advisory work.
  • Provide direct advice and support to clients on a wide range of legal issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Draft legal documents, contracts, agreements, and correspondence ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings when required, always maintaining a considerate and client-focused approach.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices within the team for optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all casework using appropriate systems while adhering to confidentiality requirements.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and contribute positively to the communal atmosphere of the office.
  • Demonstrate empathy and understanding when dealing with sensitive family law or probate matters.
  • Support junior staff members by offering guidance and sharing expertise as needed.
  • Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay current with changes in legislation and best practices.
What you bring
  • Qualified Solicitor admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in Ireland with proven experience handling general practice matters.
  • Minimum two years' post qualification experience working within a busy legal environment managing varied caseloads.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conveyancing procedures including property transactions from start to finish.
  • Solid background in probate matters including drafting wills and administering estates with compassion.
  • Experience advising on family law issues such as separation agreements or child custody arrangements showing sensitivity towards clients' circumstances.
  • Proficiency in litigation processes including preparing cases for court hearings or settlements.
  • Exceptional organisational skills enabling you to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Outstanding communication abilities allowing you to explain complex legal concepts clearly both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team as well as independently when required by case demands.
  • Professional approach focused on building trust based relationships with clients through honesty and reliability.
