Locum General Practitioner (GP)

Location: Plymouth
Sessions: 10 sessions per week
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 months
Rate: £85 per hour

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Locum General Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care services at a GP practice in Plymouth. This is a full-time locum opportunity offering consistent sessions and an immediate start.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective and patient-centred GP consultations

  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

  • Prescribe and refer in line with NICE and local guidelines

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records

  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary primary care team

Essential Requirements

  • GMC-registered General Practitioner with a licence to practise

  • Inclusion on the GP Performers List

  • Recent experience working in UK primary care

  • Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills

Desirable

  • Experience using EMIS/SystemOne

  • Availability to start immediately
