Wendy's is hiring a General Manager to join our team.

JRK Restaurants Group is a dynamic multi brand franchisee passionate about food and hospitality. We are growing aggressively with a commitment of opening over 25 units in the next 3 years across the UK with the different brands we represent.

Responsibilities

• Leadership skills and total responsibility for managing and leading the daily operations of the restaurant both Front of House and Back of House.
• Staffing, training and scheduling to build and retain a 5 star team.
• Identify talent and empower your team to grow by providing coaching and development while promoting a fun, energising work environment.
• Effective scheduling to ensure the team is the right place at the right time.
• Drive store sales and profit goals.
• Lead by example and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest hospitality.
• Use local marketing opportunities to drive sales and the presence of the restaurant and the Wendy's brand.
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Show Managers and Crew Members how to perform tasks correctly, making every shift better than the last.
• Provide clear direction and develop employees for future promotability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading people in a food service environment and excellent problem solving skills.
• Minimum 2 years of line operations experience with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast paced environment.
• Flexibility to work a 44 hour work week - must be available all day, parts and full days of the week.
• High level of communication skills with the ability to effectively coach and develop managers and team members.
• Willingness to travel to other locations (restaurants, area office, etc.) as needed.
