• Job Title: General Manager
• Level: 2B
• Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on skill and experience)
• Location: Milestones Museum, Basingstoke (travel to other HCT venues countywide as required)
• Hours: 37 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of exceptional visitor experiences and operational excellence across Milestones Museum and Basing House.
• Drive commercial and financial performance, manage P&L and budget.
• Motivate and develop high performing teams and collaborate with central departments to achieve ambitious KPIs.
• Support Hampshire Cultural Trust's 2030 strategy and report to the Head of Venue Operations.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing a large, multidisciplinary venue (or multiple venues) in customer facing operations.
• Proven track record of leading high performing operational teams in delivering engaging programming for diverse audiences, events and hires.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including P&L and budget management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Team leadership and people development experience.
