Summary of the Role:
Work in conjunction with the SVP, Regional Function Heads and Corporate HQ to actively manage the property (Transit Hotel, Premium Passenger Lounge, VIP Terminal, Other Airport Hospitality Services) along with all business functions including but not limited to commercials, finance, HR and operations.
You will
- Work closely with Regional SVP to establish and ensure adherence to core work processes that drive business innovation, enhance brand differentiation and foster market development.
- Present PPG as PIC (Person in Charge), develop and maintain healthy relations and communication with internal and external stakeholders, key industry bodies, diplomatic entities, related government organizations and airport management.
- Responsible for delivering both internal and contractual targets and KPIs.
- Participate in periodical business performance review meetings with internal and external parties, provide justifications and action plans for deviations and/or shortfalls.
- Execute and manage the management contract with full compliance. Respond to audits that are conducted by the internal and external auditors.
- Take the lead in creating, developing and/or updating meaningful, achievable business line budgets, forecast, business studies and other short- and long-term strategic action plans.
- Lead and manage the team to ensure that the business unit operations and service standards are adhered to, set KPIs for HoDs (Head of Departments).
- Hold P&L meetings monthly with HoDs, analyze monthly P&L statements, develop and execute corrective action plans.
- Focus on revenues growth, maximize financial performance and implement cost control measures effectively and continually,
- Be responsible for improvements and/or implementation of new services and operational policies,
- Take initiative to identify areas for improvement to enhance guest satisfaction and service quality,
- Oversee upcoming projects of operating new businesses to ensure successful delivery within the timeline and approved budget,
- Lead procurement and finance teams to negotiate with vendors and service providers needed for operations and any other services,
- Collaborate with local businesses to acquire all necessary resources and services,
- Conduct extensive research regarding the market and provide market insights to the SPV,
- Synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on progress and development
- Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained
- Be responsible for the strategic direction of the sales team in the assigned territories by defining the optimal way to increase sales through commercial actions and partnerships
- Structure and implement sales plans to optimize property revenue and presence in the market for key/strategic/national accounts, in close collaboration with head office and regional stakeholders.
- Improve focus and alignment of key distribution channels in the assigned territories with set distribution strategy.
- Formulate and implement B2B strategies with the sales team to maximize revenue from Collaborate with stakeholders in head office and regional office to develop short/medium term local sales incentives strategy for the assigned territories.
- Be accountable for negotiating B2B agreements within assigned territories (including commissions, corporate contracts) in coordination with regional and HQ commercial teams.
- Monitor and provide feedback to stakeholders on competitor pricing and promotional activity within the market.
- Manage allocated expenditure budgets to ensure maximum return of investment for every expense,
- Develop an operating culture with a mind-set towards performance, quality, lean operating techniques, and bottom-line results. Driving continuous improvement in all areas of operations
- Ensure compliance with all brand standards requirements of the project/ property & local regulations & related laws,
- Keep abreast of trends in your area and implement best practice initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor degree in hospitality or business administration related discipline
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience in hospitality industry of which 7-10 years at senior management level; experience in F&B
- Proficiency in English and Spanish
- Good knowledge of international Aviation Hospitality and airport services are assets.
