Role Overview

We are recruiting General Labourers to support a live construction project in Paulsgrove, Portsmouth. The role involves assisting with External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation under supervision and carrying out groundworks duties including trench digging. This is a physical, site-based role with clear productivity and health & safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation under supervision
• Digging trenches and supporting groundworks activities
• General site labouring, materials handling, and waste removal
• Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised
• Following instructions from site supervisors and management
• Working efficiently while maintaining high health & safety standards

Essential Requirements

Previous on-site labouring experience is essential.

• Comfortable with physical, manual work in an outdoor environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Able to take instruction and work using own initiative when required
• Strong awareness of site health & safety practices

Mandatory Tickets & Compliance

• Asbestos Awareness
• Manual Handling
• Working at Height Basic DBS (in date or willing to complete immediately)
• Valid Right to Work in the UK
• CIS registeredPerformance & Conduct Expectations (Critical)

This site operates a strict zero-tolerance policy on performance, conduct, and safety:
