Salary: £13.45 per hour (pay award pending)
Contract: Part time, 10 hours per week, term time only (45.8 weeks)
Hours: Monday to Friday during the lunchtime period

We are seeking two General Kitchen Assistants to join our friendly and hardworking team at Winterhill School.
About the RoleAs part of our busy school catering team, you will play an important role in providing high quality meals to pupils and ensuring a safe, clean and welcoming dining environment.
Main duties- Assisting with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals.
- Supporting the delivery of an efficient and fast paced catering service.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards.
- Cleaning food preparation areas, kitchens and associated spaces to the required standards.
- Working as part of a dedicated team.
- Enjoys working as part of a team.
- Has a positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach.
- Takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
- Understands the importance of food hygiene and cleanliness.
A Level 2 Food Safety Certificate is desirable; however, training will be available for the right candidate who is willing to achieve this qualification.
