General Catering Assistant

Location: Woodsmith Mines,Sneaton, Whitby, YO22 5BF
Pay rate: £13.21/hour(pay rise pending)
Hours: Permanent, part-time, 18 hours/week, 3 days out of 7
Shift times: range between 0600 and 2100

As a General Catering Assistant at Woodsmith Mines, you will be responsible for front of house duties, washing up, preparing salads, sandwiches, and operating tills.

What you'll do:

• Preparing salads and sandwiches
• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Operate tills and process payments accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas.
• Support stock rotation and replenishment (including vending machines).
• Always uphold health and safety standards.

What we're looking for:

• Must havealegal right toworkin the UK.
• Previousexperience is desirable, however full training will be given on siteand online training.

This site has a zero toleranceto alcohol and drugs, testing daily
