GE Wind Turbine Technician - Service & Maintenance - Portugal

We are currently seeking experienced Service Technicians to support ongoing wind turbine maintenance activities across multiple sites in Portugal.

This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stable site-based work within a structured service environment.

Locations

• (North Portugal) - GE 1.5 - 2 Technicians
• (Central Coast) - GE 1.5 - 2 Technicians
• (Central Portugal) - GE 2.5 - 2 Technicians

Contract Duration

April - December

Full Time

Scope of Work

• Scheduled maintenance (SM) on wind turbines
• Fault finding and minor troubleshooting
• General service and inspection activities
• Working as part of a dedicated 2-person technician team per site

• GE 1.5 MW
• GE 2.5 MW

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Wind Turbine Service Technician
• Hands-on experience with GE platforms (1.5 MW / 2.X preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance capability
• Ability to work independently within small teams

Certifications & Training

• GWO Basic Safety Training (Working at Heights, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, First Aid)
• Electrical Safety / LOTO awareness
• Turbine-specific training (BTO / service levels)
• Additional certifications such as bolt tightening, blade repair, or lift operations are advantageous
