GDDR Solution Architect (Migration & Deployment Specialist)

Our customer is looking to advance their data repository capabilities through expert-led migration, design, and deployment of GDDR (Global Dynamic Data Repository) instances. They have an existing GDDR environment and need a consulting expert who can bridge strategic planning with hands-on technical execution-someone who can work alongside their internal teams to ensure seamless tenant migrations, architect a new instance, and support deployment through completion.
The tasks:
- Lead structured discovery and planning sessions focused on the existing GDDR landscape, migration requirements, and future-state design
- Assess current tenant configurations, data structures, and integration points to uncover migration risks and optimization opportunities
- Architect and deliver migration plans for moving tenants between existing GDDR instances
- Take solutions from concept through testing to production, working autonomously or with internal teams as needed
- Support design and planning of a new GDDR instance, including capacity, configuration, and integration specifications
- Support deployment of the new instance, including environment setup, validation, and go-live activities
- Facilitate 2-3 hours of workshops per week (mainly afternoons) to align on progress and resolve technical blockers
- Make yourself available for occasional evening and weekend work to support migration cutovers
- Communicate progress, risks, and results to project stakeholders and leadership
Skills and experience required:
- Expert-level knowledge of GDDR (Global Dynamic Data Repository)
- Expert-level knowledge of DLM (Data Lifecycle Management)
- Proven experience migrating tenants between GDDR instances
- Demonstrated ability to design, plan, and deploy new GDDR environments
- Strong understanding of data migration strategies, validation procedures, and rollback planning
- Ability to work part time and on-demand (approximately 27 hours per month/160 hours total)
- Experience facilitating remote workshops and providing off-hours cutover support
- Strong communication skills in English (no other language requirements)
- Track record of working independently in interim or consulting solution architect roles
Duration: 29 June 2026 - 31 December 2026 (with summer break during July-August)
Commitment: 160 hours total - part time, on-demand (~27 hours per month)
Location: Remote (no restrictions; Danish time zone alignment preferred for afternoon workshops)
