Are you passionate about supporting young people to succeed in their GCSEs? TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE Tutor to provide high-quality one-to-one tuition to students in the Lancaster (LA1) area.
This rewarding role involves supporting students who require additional academic support, whether they are preparing for GCSE examinations, catching up on missed learning, or building confidence in core subjects. The role offers flexible, part-time hours during weekdays, making it ideal for qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or education professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging one-to-one GCSE tuition sessions.
- Plan and tailor lessons to meet each student's individual learning needs and academic goals.
- Support students in developing subject knowledge, confidence, and exam techniques.
- Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to maximise learning outcomes.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students.
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, Science, or another GCSE subject.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, adaptable, and student-centred approach.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
