GCP Network/DevOps Engineer
GCP Network/DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity supporting large-scale, enterprise cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role offers excellent day rates, flexible working model, and the opportunity to work on high-impact, strategic cloud initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and operating cloud and hybrid platforms using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices, while contributing to the evolution of a modern, scalable cloud ecosystem.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience delivering GCP-based and hybrid-cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated, API-driven systems
• Proven DevOps expertise, including CI/CD pipeline design and delivery using tools such as Terraform, Terraform Cloud, Git, Jenkins, Harness, and HashiCorp Vault
• Experience designing and managing end-to-end DevOps architectures, toolchains, and operating models aligned to enterprise requirements
• Ability to design, build, release, and support resilient, scalable, and cost-optimised cloud services
• Strong experience managing incidents, problems, escalations, and root cause analysis in enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience integrating security controls across the DevOps life cycle, ensuring compliance, risk reduction, and data protection
• Comfortable working in agile, collaborative engineering teams, reviewing code and contributing to shared domain-owned services
• Ability to identify opportunities for new cloud features, emerging technologies, and service improvements
• Strong Scripting and automation skills to support deployment, integration, and operational stability
• Experience supporting internal and external customers while maintaining high service quality and customer satisfaction
• Willingness to be technology-agnostic, adaptable, and continuously learn cloud best practices and tooling
• Mandatory skill: DevOps with Terraform
