About the Role: As the GBS A2R Global Tax Compliance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in setting up and ensuring consistent application of tax accounting processes across all three Hubs in GBS. You will work closely with the Digital Solutions Lead to harmonize tax reporting and simplify user experience, while also being accountable for optimized processes across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Process Vision and Strategy: Set and communicate the vision, strategy, and performance objectives for tax processes. Establish Partnering Relationships: Build strong relationships with Tax Managers and other stakeholders. Confirm Tax RACI: Define and confirm the split of responsibilities between A2R GBS and the Tax department. Monitor Tax Risks: Collect, maintain, and monitor tax risks per country in collaboration with Tax Managers. Provide Process Expertise: Offer expertise on corporate MyTax reporting, Tax Master Data, and CHC TP processes. Train Hub Teams: Regularly train Hub teams on tax activities and efficient job performance using standard ERP reports. Drive Process Harmonization: Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to drive standardization and cross-functional improvements.
Key Requirements:
Strategic Vision: Ability to set and communicate a clear vision and strategy for tax process improvement. Relationship Building: Strong skills in establishing and maintaining partnering relationships with stakeholders. Tax Expertise: In-depth knowledge of tax accounting processes and compliance requirements. Process Management: Experience in process management and improvement methodologies. Training and Development: Ability to train and develop teams on tax activities and ERP systems. Risk Management: Proficiency in monitoring and mitigating tax risks. Performance Monitoring: Ability to implement and monitor performance metrics, identify gaps, and launch remedial initiatives.
