The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Senior Chef de Partie to join a stable and supportive kitchen brigade within a busy gastro pub operation. Working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, you will take responsibility for running your own section and supporting the smooth day to day operation of the kitchen. The role will involve working across lunch and dinner services, helping maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency during busy periods. This is a hands on position suited to a confident Chef de Partie looking to step into a more senior role within a fresh food environment.
Key Responsibilities- Run and manage your designated section during service.
- Prepare and present fresh food dishes to a consistently high standard.
- Support junior chefs and help maintain a positive kitchen culture.
- Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently ahead of service.
- Assist senior chefs with daily kitchen operations and service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within your section.
- Support stock control, rotation, and ordering procedures.
- Follow all food safety and health & safety procedures.
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie within a fresh food kitchen.
- Experience working within a gastro pub, hotel, or quality restaurant environment.
- Confident running a section independently during busy service periods.
- Good understanding of fresh, seasonal British cuisine.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, hard working, and team focused approach.
- Flexible attitude towards shifts and weekend work.
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen standards.
