  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training to gas apprentices and learners
  • Plan and deliver structured lessons aligned with qualification standards
  • Support learners through practical workshop sessions and classroom learning

  • Work closely with employers and internal teams to support learner progress
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Keep up to date with industry developments and gas safety standards
What we're looking for
  • Strong industry experience in gas engineering and heating systems
  • A passion for developing and supporting the next generation of engineers
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • A supportive, patient, and learner-focused approach
  • Renewable energy experience (e.g. heat pumps, solar thermal, low-carbon technologies)
  • Plumbing qualifications or broader smart energy experience
  • Teaching and/or assessing qualifications (AET, DET, PGCE, TAQA or equivalent) - training can be provided
Salary and benefits
  • Salary up to £44,000 plus performance bonus
  • 37.5 hours per week (typically Monday to Friday)
  • Career progression and development opportunities
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture
  • Modern, well-equipped training facilities
  • Opportunity to move into renewable and smart energy training over time
  • Make a lasting impact on the future gas and energy workforce
