Salary £39,283.13 pa + call out payments + Access to company vehicle for work use only

Location Manchester - Field Based across Greater Manchester area

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: 39 hours per week
8am - 4.30pm Mon - Thurs, 8am - 3.30pm Friday

Responsibilities
  • Service, diagnose and repair all landlord owned gas appliances in customers' homes and empty properties.
  • Complete relevant certification in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations.
  • Report to the Gas Manager any faulty appliances, installations or equipment that does not comply with the current safety regulations.
  • Deliver a good cosmetic finish on completing a job.
  • Report any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in the customers' homes.
  • Update your PDA in real time on a job's status and communicate with planners if customers are not at home or jobs are not viable.
  • Order parts, materials or follow up work as required and record work daily outside opti time.
  • Achieve your performance targets, KPI's and productivity targets.
Qualifications
  • Certification of Competence (BSEN17024) - CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1.
  • Ability to undertake gas heating repairs, gas servicing and certifying gas works in customers' homes.
  • Sound building and construction knowledge.
  • General building maintenance repair knowledge.
  • Basic DBS check.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Willingness to take part in an on call rota.
