Derby City Council Streetpride Service have vacancies for Full Time Semi-skilled Gardeners (Gardener 2) to carry out basic gardening and general grounds maintenance duties.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a grounds maintenance service on all Derby City Council land, properties and contracts as required, including routine gardening and general upkeep.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full manual driving licence.
• Basic occupational experience of grounds maintenance works, including operation of professional equipment such as hedge cutters, mowers, strimmers, etc.
• Reliability, pride in work, commitment to collaborate with colleagues to achieve a good standard of work, understanding of customer satisfaction, willingness to undertake training, and adherence to Health and Safety regulations.

Additional Requirements

The role may involve early morning starts at various locations throughout the City of Derby and requires the ability to work seasonal hours throughout the year.
