Fundraising and Events Assistant (Female Only)

The Nelson Trust is an award-winning charity that brings belief,hopeand long-term recovery to people affected by addiction and multiple disadvantages.

We'relooking for a passionate and enthusiastic Fundraising and Events Assistant to join our Business Development Team at an exciting stage of growth. This varied and rewarding role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, supporting fundraisingeventsand helping to raise awareness of our mission.You'llplay a key role in engaging supporters, delivering fundraisingactivitiesandgenerating the income needed to help transform lives.

Salary:£24,500 - £25,500 per annum (pro rata)
Hours:21 hours per week (3 days)
Location:Gloucestershire (Hybrid office/home working)

What will you do
  • Support the delivery and development of fundraising activities and campaigns across theorganisation
  • Assistwith the planning and delivery of fundraising events, including stakeholder liaison and event-day support
  • Build andmaintainpositive relationships with supporters, donors, fundraisinggroupsand corporate partners
  • Create engaging fundraising materials, newsletters, promotionalcontentand supporter communications
  • Maintainaccuratesupporter records within the CRM system and support data quality and reporting activities
  • Identifynew fundraising opportunities and help raise awareness of The Nelson Trust's services and impact
What we are looking for
  • Full UK drivinglicenceand access to a car
  • Experience working within the charitable fundraising sector
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to inspire and engage others
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and supporters
  • Strongorganisational,administrativeand time management skills, with the ability toprioritiseworkload effectively
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word,Exceland CRM systems
  • A proactive team player who is passionate about The Nelson Trust's mission and willing to work flexibly to support events whenrequired
