This position is for an experienced Fund Research analyst to join our award-winning team. The team provides investment recommendations to support our investment managers. The role involves coverage of investments across traditional equity, fixed income, and alternative investments such as hedge funds, private equity, and property, including open-ended UCITS funds, investment trusts, and passives.
You will lead coverage in specific areas, conducting in-depth analysis and due diligence to identify top investment options, including assessing ESG factors. You will contribute to firm-wide model allocations and communicate findings through reports, meetings, and presentations.
This role directly impacts our investment performance and contributes to our commitment to good customer outcomes under consumer duty. It also involves responsibilities related to Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR).
About YouYou are a motivated analyst with experience in fund manager research and strong communication skills. A background in fund selection and knowledge of alternative investments are advantageous. You should be proactive, flexible, collegiate, and capable of making sound decisions with limited oversight. An interest in financial markets and understanding of ESG integration are beneficial. CFA qualification is preferred but not required; familiarity with systems like Style Analytics, Morningstar, and Factset is a plus. You should be able to produce high-quality work and communicate recommendations clearly.
