Fund Manager

The Role

Aroundtown is currently recruiting for a Fund Manager for their Amsterdam office in The Netherlands.

As a Fund Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the operational and financial performance of our real estate investment fund. This function sits at the intersection of finance, legal, and asset management, giving you a 360-degree view of how real estate value is created and sustained. You'll be responsible for managing the fund structure, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring financial performance, reporting, and supporting investor relations. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a structured, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities

• Manage the full life cycle of real estate investment funds, including performance monitoring, compliance, reporting, and structuring
• Act as a key liaison between internal departments (transactions, asset management, finance, legal) and external stakeholders
• Oversee budgeting, financial modelling, and fund reporting activities
• Support legal and regulatory compliance for fund operations and governance
• Prepare investor reports and fund performance presentations
• Contribute to cash flow forecasting and risk management
• Propose process improvements to enhance fund operations efficiency

Your Skills & Experience

Essential:

• 3-5 years of experience in preferably within fund management or finance-ideally within the real estate sector
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Law
• Strong understanding of fund structures, financial reporting, and compliance
• Highly organized, analytical, and structured in approach
• Clear and professional communicator with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders
• Proficient in Excel and financial modelling.

Desired:

• Experience working in an international environment
• Familiarity with European real estate markets, mainly Germany, The Netherlands, and The United Kingdom
• Fluency in English; Dutch and/or German is a plus.
