The Role

As a Fund Controller, you will be a key player in shaping the financial backbone of the Investments business unit. You will act as a critical sparring partner for investment and fund managers, ensuring robust financial processes and contributing to the professionalization of the organization. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to make a meaningful impact.


The Responsibilities

  • Design and improve the administrative organization and internal control systems.
  • Maintain accurate and complete bookkeeping, including financial reports and annual accounts.
  • Deliver timely and insightful reporting and management information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform checks within investment processes and ensure accurate transaction recording in financial systems.
  • Drive process improvements and implement effective checks and balances.
  • Collaborate closely with the Planning & Control team and the Investing department to support innovation and entrepreneurship.


The Requirements

  • HBO/Academic working and thinking level, preferably with a degree in Controlling or Accountancy.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a fund controller.
  • Experience in acquisitions, private equity, or venture capital is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational sensitivity, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.


The Offer

  • A full-time position (40 hours/week), with part-time options available (minimum 32 hours).
  • Annual salary between €60,000 and €75,000, including holiday pay and a 13th month, depending on experience and qualifications.
