What You'll Do

• Act as the subject-matter and technical expert for fund and investment operations, diagnosing and resolving complex operational and reconciliation issues.
• Manage and execute collateral and margin activities for Vanguard funds, ensuring accurate, timely processing and strong controls.
• Maintain and optimise internal systems and external counterparty relationships to control regulatory, market and counterparty risk and achieve best outcomes.
• Lead and deliver process improvement initiatives, performing comprehensive analysis, research and implementation of complex solutions.
• Document procedures across all fund and investment product types and support production of gold copy data to enhance output quality.
• Execute daily operational tasks, verify completion of processes and maintain governance, controls and auditability.
• Proactively identify efficiency and risk reduction opportunities, propose practical solutions, and contribute to special projects as required.

What You Bring

• Relevant work experience in Middle Office roles covering margin, derivatives and collateral.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
• Experience in financial services or asset management environments.
• Familiarity with BAU (business-as-usual) operational activity and strong track record of executing routine workflows.
• Exposure to semantic modelling, metadata management, data governance or knowledge graph technologies.
• Experience working in Agile product delivery teams.
• Practical experience with Calypso (or similar front-to-back treasury/Middle Office systems).
