Fund Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities
  • Review cash, OTE, position and market value reconciliations
  • Prepare expenses schedules including calculation of management and performance fees
  • Prepare investor allocations for each NAV period
  • Ensure NAV and all other client deliverables are completed accurately and in a timely manner, per approved procedures
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly board reports and annual/semi-annual financial statements and audits
  • Serve as operational contact for a range of clients, requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Document and update all new processes and fund procedures periodically; review for risk and efficiency to identify automation opportunities
  • Maintain open, accurate and timely communication with colleagues
  • Cover all funds within the team when required
  • Mentor and train junior colleagues with the Manager
  • Work on projects and ad-hoc tasks as required
  • Continuously review processes for operational risks, efficiency and technology development opportunities
  • Ensure smooth delivery of fund audits, managing clients, auditors and draft accounts within agreed time schedules
  • Understand and review all key areas of fund legal documents relevant to service delivery
  • Establish strong working relationships with other business lines within U.S. Bank
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in hedge fund/Private Equity administration firm, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Knowledge of Advent Geneva preferred (World Investor or Mantra beneficial)
  • Strong knowledge of different asset types: Futures, Options, IRS, CDS, Equity Swaps. Review/process corporate actions and review interest accruals
  • Individual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to quickly recognise changing priorities and refocus team efforts accordingly
  • Ability to positively influence team morale, with excellent interpersonal ability

Work Schedule

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
