Salary

• WCA Assessor (5 assessments per day): £42,000+ 5% bonus after training

The Role

• Review medical evidence and supporting documents
• Conduct structured assessments (face to face, telephone, or video)
• Explore how health conditions impact daily living
• Assess whether activities can be completed safely, repeatedly, within a reasonable time, and to an acceptable standard
• Consider variability, including flare ups and fatigue
• Produce clear, evidence based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
• Follow DWP safeguarding and professional standards

Training

You'll receive a 12 week paid, full time training programme covering assessment techniques, DWP guidance, report writing, and ongoing support before working independently.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year's post registration experience in an adult setting
• NMC or HCPC registration
• Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Strong clinical knowledge and report writing skills
• Confident using IT systems
