The Role

As an Adult Clinical Assessor, you will use your professional expertise to assess individuals applying for health-related benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting telephone and face to face assessments
  • Reviewing medical evidence and claimant questionnaires
  • Evaluating the impact of health conditions on daily living and work capability
  • Producing clear, accurate, and evidence based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
Full Paid Training Provided

Successful candidates will complete a comprehensive 12-week training programme, covering:

  • Functional assessment techniques
  • DWP guidance and legislation
  • Professional report writing
  • Quality standards and best practice
Who We're Looking For
  • Registered Adult Nurses (Adult, Mental Health, Learning Disability, General)
  • Occupational Therapists (Adult-focused)
  • Paramedics (Adult-focused)
  • Physiotherapists (Adult-focused)
  • Pharmacists (Adult-focused)
Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of post registration experience in an adult clinical setting
  • At least 1 year of active NMC or HCPC or GPHC registration
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Good IT and report writing abilities
