Functional Analyst - IT Cost Model & Governance

As part of the implementation of a new cost model covering both IT and Business domains, we are looking for an experienced profile to support the structuring, governance and deployment of the model. The goal is to create services that can be re-invoiced to clients, with a value-driven and cost-control approach.

Key Responsibilities

Value Chain & Cost Drivers

• Define and refine new cost drivers
• Structure the value chain to enable better cost allocation

Tools & Communication

• Improve existing tools and contribute to the implementation of the new model
• Ensure communication with the CFO for cost transmission

Reporting

• Identify reporting needs in line with governance requirements
• Define functional requirements to be passed on to IT teams

Governance & Change Management

• Define roles and responsibilities of stakeholders
• Set up governance processes and supporting documentation
• Drive stakeholder alignment and model adoption

Profile Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in IT project management with a strong finance/costing component
• Knowledge of IT cost structures and internal recharging models
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
• Comfortable in a multilingual and multicultural environment : Dutch or French native speaker - fluent in English
• Experience in functional design, with a structured and results-oriented mindset
• No need for accounting or IFRS expertise, but a solid understanding of financial steering principles

This role is for you if

• You have a hybrid background in Actuary, Cost Analysis or Financial Analysis ;
• You enjoy structuring, organizing and driving stakeholder alignment ;
• You are comfortable in complex and evolving environments ;
• You have worked on IT cost model transformation projects.

Contract: Permanent (CDI) or Freelance

Start date: September 2025

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Location: Hybrid - 2 days on-site in Brussels
