A busy, professional family in Henley on Thames is seeking a nanny to take sole charge of their two children, aged 8 and 10 years, while the parents work. The ideal candidate will be energetic, relaxed, and smiley, with a passion for working with children. The children enjoy outdoor activities, so the role includes taking them for walks and outings and enjoying the fresh air.
Responsibilities- Plan and prepare tasty, well-balanced meals for the children.
- Provide homework help and create engaging activities at home.
- Keep the children's play areas tidy and organised at the end of each day.
- Support outdoor and in home activities that promote physical well-being and safety.
- Drive, supervise school runs as part of the role, and maintain a trusted on-duty car.
- Location: Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm (flexible term time hours possible)
- Contract: Fixed-term for one year to cover maternity leave
- Salary: £45,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience
- Driver: Required (car provided on duty)
- Pets: No
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with children the same age and in a similar role
- Childcare qualifications desirable
- DBS on update service (or willingness to obtain)
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (12-hour) or willingness to obtain
- Minimum of 2 professional referees, one of which must be a current or last employer and immediately contactable
