Full-Time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - KS1

Location: Central Chelmsford

Start Date: September 2026

Are you a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual looking to support young learners in a primary school setting? We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Central Chelmsford seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their KS1 team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's development, particularly those with additional needs.

The Role:
  • Provide classroom support within Key Stage 1
  • Work closely with the class teacher to support learning and engagement
  • Offer 1:1 and small group support where required
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children (school-based or similar)
  • A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine interest in supporting children with SEN
Development Opportunities:
