Role overview
You will be responsible for several sites, contributing to both front-end and back-end development and using APIs to build functionality.
Key tasks
- Develop, maintain and manage WordPress sites hosted in Microsoft Azure
- Integrate with third-party APIs to extend site functionality
- Ensure performance, security and accessibility best practices are met
- Take the lead in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Work with our UX and Customer Applications Product Owner to scope and deliver features that meet user and business needs.
Criteria

Knowledge and Skills (what you know and what you can do)
- Experience working in cloud-hosted environments (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP)
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests to ensure code quality
- Experience working with CI/CD deployment pipelines
- Familiarity working with staging and deployment workflows
- Proven track record of independently delivering solutions and features
- Comfortable managing your own time and communicating clearly
- Good understanding of website performance optimisation and website security
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (e.g. Angular, React)
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for managing pipelines and deployments
- Familiarity with responsive design implementation and best practices
- Familiarity with Elementor Page Builder, ACF and WPML
- Familiarity with SEO best practices

Qualifications
- We will need you to have a full UK driving licence as the role involves UK travel.
