If you're a world-class WordPress developer with PHP and JavaScript experience looking to make an impact, then you're probably who we're looking for.

Ideally, you'll know PHP like the back of your hand, be proficient in JavaScript, and confident with JQuery. You'll be equally comfortable hooking up UI on the front end as working on complex problems in the backend.

Job Description

We're building UpdraftCentral, the platform that will empower millions of WordPress site owners.
UpdraftCentral is an all-in-one platform offering a range of features for anyone managing multiple WordPress websites.
It's been around for a while, but we're ready to level-up.
You will be working with a small, global team involved in the development and testing of the next iteration of UpdraftCentral.
The day-to-day role:- Collaborate with others on our codebase to implement new features, bug fixes, and improvements
- Test and produce testing guides for your code
- Manage your own time to fulfill your tasks
- Research/debug problems on your own or in collaboration with other developers and our support team
Your exact responsibilities will depend on your experience, how this fits with other team members, and are subject to discussion and agreement.
You'll definitely need experience with:- PHP - the core language of WordPress; strong skills in this area are essential.
- WordPress plugin development or solutions built around WordPress.
- GitHub / GitLab / Git - nice to have, but can be learned quickly by good developers used to alternatives like SVN.
- Prefetching data and optimizing plugin performance
