About the Role

They're looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to strengthen their tech team. In this role, you'll work across the stack - with Python at the core - to help scale and improve a platform that processes large volumes of sensitive data.

This is a client-facing role, which means you'll translate business needs into scalable solutions, take ownership of projects, and shape both the technical architecture and delivery process.

If you've worked on data-heavy systems or enjoy engineering for scale, you'll feel right at home.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain robust backend logic using Python
• Contribute to the frontend in React and Next.js (experience with Vue or Angular is a plus)
• Design, develop and optimize distributed, scalable systems
• Transition away from Django in favour of FastAPI for backend auth & API work
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define features, roadmaps, and priorities
• Manage and deliver technical projects independently
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes in a modern development setup
• Improve performance, maintainability, and code quality across the platform

What They're Looking For

Strong experience in backend development with Python (min. 5/6 years of experience)

Frontend experience with React and/or other JS frameworks (Vue, Angular)

Familiarity with multiple database systems - PostgreSQL is a plus

Comfortable with Docker and Kubernetes

Experience building or maintaining data-heavy or distributed applications

Strong communicator - you'll work closely with customers and internal stakeholders

FastAPI and Ray.io experience is a plus (not a must)

Proactive mindset with a drive to improve and optimize systems

Able to work from the Amsterdam office 2x per week

What You'll Get

Salary between €80.000 - €105.000 gross per year, depending on experience
