The team are currently cutting edge of technology, developing a solution that's making subsurface mapping and modeling faster, more efficient, and more sustainable. This initiative is all about integrating advanced ground imaging with precise geotechnical data to minimize the need for invasive site investigations and empower engineers to make data-driven decisions for better ground risk management.

About the Role:

As a Full Stack Developer, you'll be a key player in the development and maintenance of these revolutionary subsurface mapping solutions. You'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment. If you're passionate about using your tech skills to contribute to more sustainable practices, this could be the perfect role for you!

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining robust full-stack applications.
• Building engaging and high-performance user interfaces with React and potentially working with complementary back-end technologies.
• Writing clean, well-structured, and maintainable code, and participating in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Developers, Technical Leads and Engineers to deliver top-tier solutions.
• Tackling technical challenges and ensuring the stability and performance of the platform.
• Contributing to the ongoing innovation and improvement of the technology.
• Assisting with technical documentation.

What we're looking for:

• A strong academic foundation with an MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or C/C++.
• Proven experience in front-end development using React and related tools (e.g., Redux, Context API, React Router).
• Familiarity with back-end development concepts and frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
• A track record of designing and developing scalable and robust software.
• Knowledge of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
• Expertise in software design patterns and development best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Bonus points:

• Any exposure to geospatial engineering or subsurface mapping technologies is a plus!
