We're seeking a mid-weight Full Stack Developer with expertise in Nuxt/Nitro and Shopify APIs to join our growing Tech Team. You'll work closely with our Senior Developer to deliver high-quality, scalable ecommerce experiences and internal tools.
Our headless stack combines Nuxt 3 (Vue), Shopify (products, checkout, orders), DatoCMS, and bespoke internal APIs. This role is central to building, optimising, and maintaining the systems that power both our customer experience and internal business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Ownership and implementation of features across the stack from our user-facing storefront to backend services
Build confidence in features with automated testing
Develop and maintain API integrations across our tech stack - including Shopify APIs, 3rd party tools, and bespoke internal systems
Contribute to our internal component library, Vision
Ensure our digital experience is fast, responsive, accessible and built for scale
Work cross-functionally with design, marketing and ecommerce to support campaigns, launches and growth initiatives
Contribute to architectural and technical decisions with the wider business
Participate in code reviews and promote a culture of engineering excellence

Who are we looking for?We are looking for someone with3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably within an eCommerce setting, with an eye for detail and interest in the sport/outdoor industry!
The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:
3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably within an eCommerce setting
Strong programming fundamentals with experience using modern frameworks. We use Nuxt 3 on our frontend with Nitro powering some of our APIs. Part of this role will be providing expertise on the future direction of our backend
Open to the practical use of AI within a business environment
Previous experience of working directly with a senior leadership team to translate business requirements into solutions
Experience working with headless systems such as CMS' and Commerce Platforms such as Shopify
Proven ability to build and integrate with APIs and webhooks
Experience of different data storage methods and when to use them: MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, as some examples
Experience interacting with cloud infrastructure such as Vercel and Google Cloud Platform
Passion for clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement
Championing new tools, frameworks, or workflows to boost efficiency
Stay up to date with web development and ecommerce trends
Understanding of conversion-focused, performance-led UX principles
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
Additional experience that would be beneficial:
Background in outdoor, sport or active lifestyle brands, but you do not need to be a sports fanatic to work here
Experience in a high-growth D2C or scale-up environment
Exposure to product customisation tools
Familiarity with SEO, A/B testing and analytic tools
Experience with cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform
Experience with Vue and Typescript
Experience with CI/CD processes
