Your key responsibilities
  • Be involved in and manage business transformation projects/workstreams across the end to end project lifecycle, from business case development to mobilisation, execution, and close out.
  • Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, Product Owners and Delivery Managers to drive programme/project outcomes and continuously improve governance processes.
  • Deliver the business transformation objectives/work packages within the overall programme, managing schedule, scope, quality, and cost.
  • Collaborate with other managers to explore specific solutions, cross stream deliverables and define the scope of all deliverables.
  • Manage delivery of complex multi stream projects/workstreams in line with client delivery methodology and EY approaches.
  • Lead business transformations using agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or traditional waterfall or hybrid approaches when required.
  • Plan and manage transformation including scope, critical path planning, governance, status reporting, cost and benefit monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage delivery resourcing and cost.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Monitor benefits realisation and key outcome metrics.
  • Maintain a standard format roadmap of in flight deliverables for programme and portfolio reporting.
  • Leverage EY's capabilities across Business, Technology, People and Risk Consulting practices.
  • Work with a global team of experts to develop innovative solutions and benefit from best in class training and development.
  • Support business development activities such as proposals, thought leadership and client events.
  • Ensure operational metrics are met for utilisation, timesheet and internal engagement management processes.
  • Manage and coach junior resources, supporting career development and performance management.
  • Apply analytical thinking and structured problem solving to resolve challenges on engagements.
  • Produce concise documents suitable for C suite level with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate key facilitation skills: articulation, active listening, useful questioning, observation, empathy, neutrality, consensus building.
  • Provide confidence to C suite stakeholders in uncertain times with minimal intervention.
  • Identify and manage conflicting stakeholder relationships to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Support Senior Manager in coordinating complex engagements and aligning with strategic objectives.
  • Assist Senior Manager in managing engagement revenue and billing independently.
  • Use advanced proficiency in Excel and other tools to analyse data, develop basic financial models and support business case development.
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively to various senior audiences.
  • Develop solution and competency skills through on the job experience and training.
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • 8+ years of experience in a management consultant role within financial services.
  • Primary Degree.
  • Experience delivering complex projects and strong presentation skills.
  • High expertise in financial, stakeholder and people management.
  • Experience managing projects through the full delivery life cycle (concept to closing).
Ideally, you will also have
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and uncertainty.
  • Project Management or Agile certification (e.g., PRINCE2, Scrum Master).
  • Experience using project and portfolio management tools such as Clarity.
  • Management consulting experience.

Technical
  • Expertise in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
  • Experience with project and portfolio tools such as Clarity.
