French teacher - Temporary - Hull
Are you a confident French teacher looking for short or long term temporary supply work in the Hull area?
We currently have an opportunity within a vibrant Hull secondary school for a qualified French Teacher who is passionate about languages and supporting young people.
As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (potentially KS5 depending on the school). Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging French lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Encouraging students to develop confidence in speaking, reading, and writing French
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Contributing to the wider school community and language enrichment activities
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in French or a related subject
- Experience teaching French at secondary level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for languages and engaging young learners
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
